Ezekiel 4:9 Bread Diet For the Person With Yeast Infection

Bread is something that’s typically avoided on the candida diet but Ezekiel 4:9 bread is something that can be consumed by many. Although the recipe may call for yeast, the bread is made with sprouted grains which are very healthy for the body and can have a probiotic impact on your healthy flora which can make it more likely for your healthy flora to overpower the unhealthy candida bacteria. The bread recipe comes from the bible and is said to be a nutritionally complete bread which is excellent for helping to purify the body for fasting.

Whether you’re adding this bread to your diet due to a sugar sensitivity, a gluten allergy or due to a candida diet, you might opt to start with small quantities of it. Because of the quantity of sprouted grains, your stomach may take time to adjust. Bloating and gas can happen while the body is adjusting; much like eating a large quantity of beans.

This bread is increasingly popular due to the high protein, live enzyme and nutrient content so is readily available in health food stores and a lot of grocery stores as well. Sprouted grains are more of a living food which can provide a vast number of nutrients and many health benefits.

If you’d like to make it yourself, the ingredients are below:

Ingredients in this recipe are:

- 2 1/2 cups red wheat

- 1 1/2 cups spelt flour

- 1/2 cup barley

- 1/2 cup millet

- 1/4 cup dry green lentils

- 2 tablespoons dry great Northern beans

- 2 tablespoons dry kidney beans

- 2 tablespoons dried pinto beans

- 4 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)

- 1 cup honey

- 1/2 cup olive oil

- 2 (.25 ounce) packages active dry yeast

- 2 tablespoons salt

After preparing the bread, it needs to have time to rise and should be baked at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes or until done.

Eating healthy foods that promote healthy digestion can help you minimize candida overgrowth. Eat fewer processed foods, less sugar and reduce or eliminate your yeast intake altogether which can starve the candida bacteria. This bread has complex carbohydrates instead of refined ones and an extremely high amount of protein. It doesn’t have the shelf life other breads have due to the lack of preservatives and should be kept in the fridge until you’re ready to consume it.
