Mississippi Department of Education Adds iCEV to List of State-Approved Curricula

Lubbock, Texas (PRWEB) February 26, 2015

CEV Multimedia, a leading producer of Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum resources, announced today that the Mississippi Department of Education has added iCEV, an online platform that produces and delivers comprehensive educational content, as a state-approved curriculum. As part of the 2014-2015 Instructional Materials Adoption, schools can choose to implement iCEV’s Family & Consumer Sciences and Business & Marketing courses.

Providing time-saving lesson plans that correlate to Common Core and state standards, Mississippi school districts have access to seven Family & Consumer Sciences courses and 11 Business and Marketing courses. Between the two curricula, school districts can offer wide-ranging coursework that includes early childhood education, nutrition & health, and business and personal finance, to name a few.

“By adding iCEV as a state-approved curriculum, Mississippi is leading the way for quality education and career training initiatives,” said Dusty Moore, iCEV president. “We’re pleased to offer a time-saving and cost-effective curriculum solution that will help educators prepare Mississippi students for college and career.”

iCEV offers in-depth, interactive learning with professional demonstrations to prepare students for postsecondary education and career path. Educators can quickly monitor, track and engage with students through the platform’s interactive lessons. Additionally, iCEV offers students the opportunity to earn nationally recognized industry-backed certifications, such as the Southwest Airlines Professional Communications Certification, as they complete work toward their college and career goals.
